Where can we see examples of your Wedding Photography and what's your style?

I love capturing candid moments and documenting the day as it unfolds naturally. I take a documentary approach, while also stepping in with gentle prompts during your group's and couple’s photos to help create those romantic, connected shots without anything feeling forced. My focus is always on letting genuine emotions and real interactions shine through, with guidance offered only when it adds value.
I pay close attention to the feeling of each moment, balancing vibrant colours with soft tones to create images that feel intimate and true. Alongside your colour images, I also create timeless black and white photographs, carefully selected using my photographic eye so you don’t have to sort through hundreds yourself.

Question 2

Are you available on our wedding date? How early should we book you?

I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm my availability. If I’m free on your date, we can go ahead and secure your booking with a deposit and a contract.
Please note: My pricing is reviewed quarterly, so booking early is the best way to lock in current rates and avoid future price increases.

Question 3

Where are you located and do you travel?

Accepted Answer

I'm based in Forest Lake, Hamilton (in the Waikato). I can definitely travel for your big day! 
Free within Hamilton. A small mileage charge apply for areas beyond Hamilton ($1 per km travelled).

Question 4

Can we customise our Wedding Photography Package to fit our needs?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Each wedding is unique, so I offer custom quotes and add-ons to perfectly fit your special day. The packages listed are just starting points, and I’m happy to provide additional hours or services at a custom rate. Feel free to reach out about tailoring any package to meet your needs.

Question 5

Do you offer payment options? When is the final payment due?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can choose to make several or monthly payments leading up to your wedding, which helps spread out the cost. 
The final payment is due 21 days before your big day. 
To secure your date, a non-refundable 25% retainer is required. This works as a fee for holding the date, and serves as liquidated damages in the event of client cancellation (whereby no one else could book my services).
All payments are via bank deposit.

Question 6

When will we receive our Wedding Photos and how will they be delivered?

Accepted Answer

After your wedding, sharing those special moments with your family and friends is a wonderful way to continue celebrating your day. I aim to provide you with sneak peeks as soon as possible (usually within 3 to 5 days). Then you'll receive the full gallery within 3 to 5 weeks. 
Once your photos are edited, they will be uploaded to a private online gallery for easy sharing, viewing and downloading. If you prefer, you can opt to receive them solely through online transfer.
Each package guarantees a minimum number of edited photos, but you may receive more. There are always extra moments I wouldn’t want you to miss!

What can we expect from our Pre-Wedding Planning with you?

Pre-Wedding Planning Meeting: We can meet for coffee at a local Hamilton café or have a chat over the phone or via an online call.

Question 8

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please let me know as soon as possible. I understand that plans can change, and I’ll do my best to accommodate rescheduling based on my availability. The initial retainer is non-refundable, as it works as a fee for holding the date, and serves as liquidated damages in the event of client cancellation (whereby no one else could book my services).

You might also be concerned about what happens if I’m unable to shoot your wedding due to an emergency. While it’s highly unlikely, if unforeseen circumstances prevent me from being there, I will do my utmost to secure a replacement photographer to capture your day. In the rare event that a replacement cannot be arranged, all payments made, including your retainer, will be fully refunded.

Question 9

Do you work with second photographers and assistants?

Yes, I do! For large weddings, or where additional coverage is needed, I can bring along a second shooter or an assistant. This ensures we capture every angle and all the special moments of your day. If you're interested in adding a second photographer or assistant, just let me know, and we can discuss the add-on options available.

What can we expect from our Engagement / Pre-Wedding Shoot?

Accepted Answer

A relaxed, enjoyable experience designed to capture your genuine connection. 
This 30 min Outdoor Portrait Session is complimentary and optional!
You'll receive 10 beautifully edited digital images, access to an online gallery where you can select your favourite photos, share and download. 
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Comfort in front of the camera – This session is the perfect opportunity to get comfortable before the big day. I’ll guide you with natural prompts to help you feel at ease, so you can be yourselves in front of the lens.
2. Personalised experience – The session is exclusively for you as a couple, but you can also choose to include children or pets for a small fee. It’s all about capturing your story and making it feel personal.
3. Stunning location options – Sessions are held in Hamilton, but happy to travel for just $1 per km, so you can choose a location that’s meaningful to you.
4. Quality images to cherish – You’ll receive 10 professionally edited photos, but if you love the entire gallery, you have the option to purchase more or even print them for lasting memories. You'll have access to an online gallery where you can select your favourite photos, share and download. 
It’s a fun, stress-free way to capture this special chapter in your life and build confidence for your wedding day photography!

Question 11

Do you offer highlight videos or content creation?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can book me as a content creator without a photography package, or add content creation to your photography package for the day. The add-on will involve a second shooter to be able to plan the day without missing any key moments. 
4K videos are captured on an iPhone or full-frame camera, with the option to receive fully edited videos or just the raw footage.
