Question… when do you think Christmas photos are actually taken?

Most people guess October
But actually? It’s usually somewhere between July and September.

It feels early…until you remember editing, marketing, website, social media, print deadlines and shipping need to happen!

Right now is when businesses are:
-designing packaging and offers
-planning gift boxes
-organising holiday menus
-booking photography and content

So yes, Xmas is ONLY 5 months away!!

One of my recent shoots was with Tieke Bistro & Bar, and like every hospitality shoot, the goal was about so much more than photographing food.

It was about capturing the experience.

The warm fire from the outdoor chimney. The surroundings & the vibes. The little details that make someone think, "We should book a table there."
