A beautiful day capturing a French-kiwi wedding at Te Karaka Lodge, Port Waikato.
Aaron (one of the managers) took us to the beach nearby and what an adventure that was! I enjoyed every second of it, the very bumpy “road” (well there wasn’t a road at all at the end towards the cliff!), discovering the beauty of this place… I had a lot of fun taking pictures alongside Keepsake Films NZ (who was on videography) for our lovely couple tying the knot.
The venue is beautifully thought out: “A luxurious rural escape into nature, surrounded by breathtaking landscape. In the heart of Waikato farmland 95km from Auckland. It is suited for elopements and small weddings (can cater to up to 50 guests) ”

★★★★★ "We are in love with our wedding photos that Lucie took for us, she has such a natural, intuitive way of capturing moments - nothing ever felt posed or forced.
Lucie has a great eye for colour and the tones in our photos are rich, warm, and true to the day, without ever feeling over-edited.
Thanks so much Lucie!"
