My ongoing Photography work with About You Gift Box has been collaborative, thoughtful, and genuinely enjoyable.
AYGB is built on care and intention. Every box is curated to feel elevated and meaningful. My role is to translate that feeling visually.
Building a Complete Visual Library (Waikato Product/Lifestyle Photography)
Rather than just creating a handful of hero images, we worked through every single gift box in their collection.
Each one was captured:
Front on for clean, polished e-commerce use
Overhead to showcase the full layout and balance
Abstract and close-up to highlight texture, ribbon, packaging and detail
Then we also:
Styled lifestyle moments to show how the boxes live in real spaces
Captured Behind-the-scenes to add warmth and personality
This layered approach gives the brand flexibility across their website, social media, seasonal launches and campaigns.

A Collaborative, Local Process (All created in the Waikato)
These shoots take place in the Hamilton surroundings (Waikato), using artificial light and natural light for the Behind-the-scenes and outdoor shots.
Lucie Pernicova, AYGB’s Founder and Creative Director, carefully curates each box with a sharp eye for colour and composition. Dania styles everything beautifully, ensuring every element sits exactly where it should.
Because we all care deeply about the final result, the process feels easy. There’s trust. There’s laughter. There’s attention to detail.
