About the Recipe

Delicious mocktail recipes I developed during my time at My Food Bag, using Karma Kombucha, 100% Kiwi owned using the best natural and organic ingredients with no GMOs, artificial flavours or preservatives.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

  • Kombucha

  • ½ cup water

  • Crushed ice

  • 1 Tbsp honey

  • Fresh ginger, grated

  • Berries and fresh mint for garnish

    For the rim

  • 1 Tbsp salt

  • Pinch of chilli powder

  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup

  • Juice of 1/4 lime

Preparation

Raspberry Syrup: In a small saucepan, add raspberries, water and honey and bring to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and transfer to a strainer fitted over a bowl. Press mixture through the strainer with a spoon and discard the seeds and pulp that is left over. (It should make about ½ cup syrup). Chill in the fridge completely before using.

Fill glass 3/4 of the way with crushed ice and then top it off with kombucha, raspberry syrup and ginger.

Garnish with fresh mint and additional berries.

For the rim: On a small plate, stir together the salt and chilli powder. Stir together maple syrup and lime juice. Rim each glass with the lime/syrup mix and dip in the chilli salt.
