Lemon Ginger Kombucha Mocktail with Citrus

About the Recipe

Delicious mocktail recipes I developed during my time at My Food Bag, using Karma Kombucha, 100% Kiwi owned using the best natural and organic ingredients with no GMOs, artificial flavours or preservatives.

Ingredients

  • Crushed ice

  • 1 lime, sliced

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • ½ grapefruit, sliced (or grapefruit juice or lemon if unavailable)

  • 4 Tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 4 Tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice (~2 limes)

  • Kombucha

    100ml Ginger ale / Ginger beer and/or ½ tsp grated ginger


    For the rim

  • 1 Tbsp salt

  • Pinch of chilli powder

  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup

  • Juice of 1/4 lime

Preparation

Lemon Ginger Kombucha Mocktail with Citrus: Fill the glasses with crushed ice and a mix of the sliced citrus.

In each glass, stir together the juices and kombucha. Top each drink off with Ginger beer (or Ginger ale) and/or grated ginger.


For the rim: On a small plate, stir together the salt and chilli powder. Stir together maple syrup and lime juice. Rim each glass with the lime/syrup mix and dip in the chilli salt.
